This international mining company is seeking an experienced OHS professional to join their team. This role will provide critical support to all departments at the site on OHS and Training related issues.
As the senior member of the OHS team you will have a wide range of responsibilities. As well as managing the small OHS team, this role will be very hands on and will allow you to really influence the safety culture at the site. This job will require you to pro-actively manage the emergency response functions, operator training, site induction processes, injury and workers compensation and all associated documentation. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior level role, you will report into the Mine Manager and work closely with the senior management team.
You will have tertiary level education in OHS or a mining discipline, it is also critical that you have worked in the underground mining industry and understand the safety issues that are inherent with the industry.
