OHS Manager

This mid-tier nickel producer is seeking an experienced OHS professional to join their team. This role will provide critical support to all departments at the site on OHS and Training related issues.
As the senior member of the OHS team you will have a wide range of responsibilities. As well as managing the small OHS team, this role will be very hands on and will see you interacting with people at all levels in the business and across the whole mine site operation. Your responsibilities will be to manage a team covering aspects including the emergency response functions, operator training, site induction processes, injury and workers compensation and all associated documentation.
You will have tertiary level education in OHS or a mining discipline, it is also important to ensure that you have worked in the underground mining industry, specifically in a safety role.
This position is Kalgoorlie based on a family friendly 5:2 roster, get home every single night.
