Aboriginal Employment Service located in the Kimberley urgently seek the services of an experienced Case Manager. You will provide case management support and drive forward community change to develop individual pathways to employment and sustainable employment.
- Working with Aboriginal people to promote employment in the community and promote life choices
- To assist in the development of the Case Management framework, systems and staff training
- Case Management, supervision and management of staff within the service
- Identify, recommend and coordinate projects which support Aboriginal recruitment and development
- Organise community, family, individual meetings to develop and sustain the local Aboriginal talent pool
Essential skills and qualifications:
- Degree or Masters in Social Work, Psychology or related human services field
- 2+ years experience supervising and managing staff in a social services setting
- Previous exposure to training and mentoring programs, preferably Indigenous
- Previous experience in case management - the ability to develop individual pathways to employment in a case management framework, working with Aboriginal people and understanding their needs
- Current unrestricted drivers licence
